DESCRIPTION
Energetic, creative, visually oriented and highly organized, you are proficient in a variety of design and graphic programs including Adobe InDesign. As a leader, you will take ownership of Bull Stockwell Allen’s brand management, internal and external communications, and be an integral part of our marketing efforts. As the firm’s essential marketing and brand ambassador you will:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Join the firm’s Senior Management Team in the development and implementation of the firm’s initiatives and long-term strategy
- Develop the firm’s core Communications + Brand Management assets including the firm’s look, website, presentation materials and communication templates.
- Drive the brand to ensure all internal and external documents uphold this the firm’s professional standards.
- Implement the firm’s strategic outreach and marketing efforts, both internally and externally
- Work closely with the firm’s clients and ensure that the lines of communication are open, and their needs are being met.
- Assist the firm’s Principals and design team on a variety of project related deliverables.
- Create written and graphically superior proposals, presentations and marketing materials while maintaining the firm’s portfolio.
- Compose text highlighting the firm’s key attributes and specialized expertise
- Oversee the firm’s Social Media including Instagram, LinkedIn, and managing our website, including the development of new and engaging content.
- Commission the photography of our projects and develop strategies for awards and publications.
- Initiate strategic marketing initiatives for both short and long-term financial success.
- Represent the firm both in and outside of the office as its definitive stylistic and cultural leader.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Marketing and/or Branding experience, ideally within the Architectural and Engineering industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and graphic)
- An ability to work with and inspire people to achieve exceptional results
- The ability to maintain a professional and cordial manner in high-intensity situations
- Great planning and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and pursue the big picture
- A creative eye for great design, including composition, color and communication
- A motivated self-starter, you take initiative in your work and are willing to pitch in where needed

- Experience in A/E professional services, with Newforma and/or Architectural software a plus

DESCRIPTION
The position of Senior Interior Designer contributes to our success by overseeing the execution of all phases of design and project management for our hospitality projects. The designer will be expected to produce a visual representation of the concept and communicate the Interior Designer Director’s objectives both orally and visually. The designer will be expected to manage all project-related tasks, client meetings and contractor coordination working directly with the Interior Design Director and Project Architect/Manager, collaborating with fellow studio members, clients and consultants. This position may require travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to interface and lead the design team effectively on the conception and design development of multiple projects to meet milestones within client program and budget constraints.
- Act as liaison between Interior Design Director and Project Architect/Manager and design team during design process to review scope, schedule, budget, staffing needs, preparing project cost & fee analysis and review project billing.
- Review in collaboration with Interior Design Director all documents to ensure they meet design intent, client vision and BSA standards. Ensure deliverables are submitted per the project contractual agreement.
- Direct and participate in the preparation of all design documents including:
- Design Decks: presentation and development of any means required to communicate the design concept including mood boards, renderings including 2D and 3D drawing views, FF&E selections
- Contract Documents: construction drawing documents and specifications including finishes, FF&E, hardware & plumbing selections, custom specifications drawings
- Archiving: Finish boards and/or boxes, FF&E binders
- Lead team in performing field visits/measurements and construction administration services including site visits, directing the response to submittals and RFIs, reviewing control samples and shop drawings, coordinating with consultants, manufacturers, and contractors, and completing punch list.
- Direct and mentor Intermediate Designers
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Architecture or Interior Design degree, accredited 4 year program at a minimum
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hospitality design or accomplished skill level
- Strong conceptual design experience and managing the implementation of a design concept in a team environment through completion that is on schedule and budget
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality design standards with an experienced understanding of hospitality operations
- Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects across various phases
- Strong experience in management and coordination of construction drawing sets with knowledge of commercial construction detailing, materials, methods, and codes: fire safety codes, ADA codes, and applicable codes for textiles, furnishings, and finishes
- Strong experience in management and coordination of FF&E specification deliverables/implementation through available vendors and fabricators
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, SPEXX or Spec Sources, Sketch Up, and MS Office and other industry standard programs
- Collaborative, self-motivated, positive, and flexible with strong verbal and written communication and must be comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the direction of the Senior Designer, the Intermediate Designer is responsible for the development and realization of the project by assisting the Senior Designer to ensure deliverables are submitted per the project contractual agreement.
- Primary team member responsible for documentation packages and will coordinate the preparation of all design documents including:

We’re looking for a Studio Director to help us expand our reach and continue that philosophy with a brand-new Boston-based team. This person will have the opportunity to create and manage a team of architects dedicated to bringing our East-coast resort, recreation, and hospitality projects to life. We need a strong leader who has a passion for building and mentoring a strong team of architects and designers and understands the business behind the profession. This individual will help us with the development of our Boston office both in creating a physical space, but also in vision and direction in partnership with our San Francisco leadership.
This role will be a new position within the firm and will require an individual who is excited about building a new venture and can provide vision and direction for the East Coast market. Duties will include mentoring and training staff in adherence to proper procedures, managing client relationships, networking with other leaders in the profession, overseeing projects, and pursuing additional new business avenues. This also includes setting expectations and creative direction for the team and ensuring brand, design, and technical continuity.
This position requires an entrepreneurial outlook, as the successful candidate will assist the firm in building our new brick-and-mortar location in the Boston area and has the opportunity to build their own team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Licensure as an Architect in the United States
- 10 – 15+ years of experience within the architecture profession

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to oversee and staff the incoming projects for the firm. This individual will work as the bridge between project architects/ managers and the administrative teams to make sure the firm’s staffing and profitability goals are met.
Primary Duties Include:
- Overseeing and developing the project management processes in our offices for our architects.
- Lead frequent project meetings to provide regular status updates and project needs
- Ensure that all projects are meeting budget, staffing, scheduling, and deliverable requirements for the firm as a whole.
- Building relationships both with external clients and with our internal staff.
- Mentor and set a positive example of project management practices for the rest of the staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 8-10+ years of applicable experience within the architecture profession
- Strong documentation and project management skills for architecture.
- A Bachelor’s or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills with team members, consultants, and clients.
