The Omni Mount Washington Hotel and Resort is one of the last surviving grand hotels in the White Mountains, built of wood and opened in 1902 to great acclaim. The Bretton Woods monetary conference took place at the hotel in 1944, establishing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The hotel was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1986. Bull Stockwell Allen worked with landscape architects and Omni Hotels to usher in its next generation of greatness. Program elements included a new presidential wing with 68 luxury rooms, spa garden and a new rooftop terrace experience.
