In 2017, Bull Stockwell Allen prepared a master plan for the Bretton Woods ski area, part of the historic Mount Washington Hotel and Resort located in the Presidential Range of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. The goal was to improve the existing ski area with the creation of an activated, four-season village core through a plan that can be implemented in phases. Design improvements to the existing facilities and working within the expansive trail networks, we have created opportunities to better establish a regional resort character by merging growth with the existing ski facilities. New program elements include expanded access to the area’s established year-round recreational opportunities, expanded base lodge facilities, a new mountain top lodge (below), village square, and mixed-use resort residential.

Rosebrook Lodge started construction in the Spring of 2019 and scheduled to open for the Fall of 2020.
